Booking terms & conditions
All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure your weekend. No wedding date is confirmed or secured unless we have received proof of payment for your 50% deposit. Bookings are secured on a first paid, first booked basis.
The balance of your payment is required 14 days prior to your wedding date.
A R10 000 refundable breakage deposit is payable on booking. Damages and breakages will be reconciled in an email sent to you within 10 days after the wedding. Damages costs amounting to more than the R10 000 breakages deposit must be settled with 7 days of receiving this mail.Additional services booked directly through Oakhurst (such as ice, firewood, mountain bike rental, massages and babysitting) must be paid 30 days before the wedding date.
All wedding quotes provided by Oakhurst Farm are valid for 21 days from your first email enquiry. Quotes are not valid for long weekends, public holidays or peak holiday seasons where additional minimum stays and rates apply.
No part of the Oakhurst wedding package may be excluded to offer a discounted package rate. The wedding package rates include those services and accommodation as listed, whether they are used or not.
Cancellation policy
Deposits for weddings cancelled more than 10 months prior to the wedding date will be refunded at the full amount, less 20% admin fee.
Deposits for weddings cancelled less than 10 months of the wedding date will not be refunded.
Our wedding on Oakhurst Farm surpassed what we had envisioned for our day. We had the ceremony in the beautiful church, which was built in the early 1800s. The raw beauty of the farm’s landscape made the outdoor setting perfect for the reception. What we loved most was creating a relaxed, homey space between the trees. We are forever grateful towards you for helping make our wedding the most magical weekend. thank you!

The graceful All Saints Church on the beautiful Oakhurst Farm was the location of our wedding. The magnificent Outeniqua Mountains act as the perfect background to the church, which is set partway along a striking avenue of trees in a rural idyll of long green grass, happy cows, dams, hay bales and horses. The Oakhurst staff were professional, helpful and cheerful and were a large part of the success of the wedding weekend.
