At Oakhurst, we know how to dish up the absolute best in country hospitality. For the rest, we let our beautiful natural surrounds speak for themselves. Our combination of a fun and creative wedding venue, great farm accommodation and a rural setting second to none, makes Oakhurst Farm the perfect choice for a Garden Route wedding.
The following are included in our wedding package
Number of guests
Our wedding package caters for 50 guests in total. We can however accommodate larger groups of up to 100 guests. This would fall outside of our standard wedding package.
Please enquire about weddings for more than 50 guests.
Accommodation
A total of 100 guests can be accommodated at Oakhurst.
The Forge, The Schoolyard and The Oakhurst Farm Cottages are included exclusively as accommodation for our wedding package. (Sleeping a total of 52 guests).
Should you need accommodation for more than 52 guests, the Africamps glamping tents are
available for hire and can be booked through us. (8 tents, sleeping 5 each)
Accommodation check-in on Friday at 2pm and check-out on Sunday at 10am.
Use of the historic Oakhurst chapel
Full use of the 150-seater historic Oakhurst chapel. Located 1 km from the wedding venue.
Use of the Oakhurst wedding venue
Full use of the wedding venue includes the 12 x 6 seater dining tables and benches. The venue is equipped with electricity and lighting and includes a fully-equipped central bar and kitchen area.
There are bathrooms with flush loo's and a hand basin adjacent to the venue.
Cutlery and crockery
We supply a full set of enamel plates, bowls and coffee mugs, as well as wine glasses, long glasses, glass jugs and enamel salad bowls. Cutlery is also supplied. Quantities cater for 50 guests in total.
Firewood and fire cages
Two wheelbarrow loads of firewood and 6 fire cages are supplied with the wedding venue.
Additional firewood can be ordered on request.
Use of the farm facilities
Wedding guests may use the Oakhurst facilities. These include the MTB and walking trails, farm swimming pool and kids play area. Our farm shop stocks basic supplies, braai packs and snacks
and treats.

Our wedding on Oakhurst Farm surpassed what we had envisioned for our day. We had the ceremony in the beautiful church, which was built in the early 1800s. The raw beauty of the farm’s landscape made the outdoor setting perfect for the reception. What we loved most was creating a relaxed, homey space between the trees. We are forever grateful towards you for helping make our wedding the most magical weekend. thank you!

The graceful All Saints Church on the beautiful Oakhurst Farm was the location of our wedding. The magnificent Outeniqua Mountains act as the perfect background to the church, which is set partway along a striking avenue of trees in a rural idyll of long green grass, happy cows, dams, hay bales and horses. The Oakhurst staff were professional, helpful and cheerful and were a large part of the success of the wedding weekend.
